I’d been hosting my own web site for two years within SmugMug.
Most photographers might know SmugMug right?
You can have your own beautiful photo web site with their custom templates.Mostly I was OK with “SmugMug”, but they are not good at “blog” writing.(Actually they advise to write blog with WordPress)
So I ‘d been writing “blog” with free WordPress.com and linked them with my “SmugMug” site. Also I had both English and Japanese blog sites in them, so it become complicated to organize. So I needed to make my site much simple structure, and I decided to integrate whole site to WordPress
Rather my site should present my works by much different way unlike other photo sharing sites.
Bigger is Better
So I pick up my images what I really want to be seen, providing with much bigger size; High Resolution.
Then basically I upload my image with HD size, 1920×1080, to fit for most displays in today.
You can go HD gallery from the both menu and the gallery page. (see the video)
I’ve been blogging and I keep doing it.
You can choose English or Japanese from the “Menu”.
A blog content won’t be different among the languages, but I might write just English or Japanese depends on its content.
I ‘d like to write more tutorials and post process techniques.
So far put the link for previous my “WordPress.com” blog in the menu.If you got interested them, just jump.
I made my logo. The shadow“由彦” is my name in Chinese Character. ● is ND filter, which is my lifetime-companion. I’ll make a Logo T-shirt in the future.(just kidding)
I didn’t like a watermark put in my images, but from now on I’ll put the logo slightly without spoiling the image quality.
I want to make my page useful resource for whom interested in “fine art style photography”.
I’ll add “My gears” page, but I need some more time.
“My respectable artists” page might be interesting.
“Award information” might be useful for whom just started the photo competitions.
Anyway thank you for visiting my page, and for your continuous support.
