(cherry blossom) season in Japan has over.
I’m not big fun of these beautiful trees, and not fascinated for capturing them neither.
The reason:
Having said that I have captured them some time before.
Both popular destination for tourists and composition.
“Sakura Castle” 301.sec f/10, iso100, pc-e 24mm
Dawn at Yoshino, Nara. One of the most beautiful Sakura location in Japan. 30 sec. f7.1, iso100, 24-70 f2.8 (38mm)
This year I did not go any popular sight seeing spot, but shot at on the way to work.
Under the Hanshin-Highway. 183sec. F/8. iso100, PC-E 45mm
The same place with a different composition. 123sec. f9, PC-E NIKKOR 45mm f/2.8D ED
The center building is a premium condo. The top floor was priced $250million, do you want to live?
That’s it! Did you enjoy? I’m going back to my BW world. See you there!!
I completely understand what you mean. I always tell people not to take easy shots. In my opinion you should strive to be different. See things others don’t try to see. Could you share how you get such clear images? Thank you! Great work!!
Thank you Peter. There are several important things to have clear images, and I don’t do anything different from others. Focus manually, set your tripod firmly, don’t stop down too much (f8-f11 is best ),use great ND filters, which you should treat as another lenses.
I like both kinds of your work – B&W as well as those @ your blog. It is understandable – the desire to be out of crowd, but for such talented master as you are, could surrounding matter?
We, the Greeks, hold that each person is cosmos, universe. From such a point of view, space around and its content is just a frame.
I follow you @ Flickr. Thank you for pleasure to see your pictures.
Best wishes.

Dear Alice
Thank you for visiting both Flicker and my own web here.
I just prefer quiet places. However I also love to visit a popular place, where have been shot by many, and try to find my own perspective there. BTW, I’ve just come back from LA, and I visited Disney Concert Hall where one of the most famous architecture in LA. It was so hard to find my own perspective, but somehow I could manage to shoot with my style.
