Behind a Single Note | 一音の背後、あるいは不在の律動 — How My Daughter’s Performance Awakened the Structure —

"October 2025. Watching my daughter perform Akira Ifukube’s Violin Concerto at Tokyo University of the Arts awakened a dormant 'earthbound rhythm' within me. It was a confrontation with my past, my master's teachings, and the sudden passing of my father that followed. I explore how the 'Structure of Light' in my photography must structurally fuse with the 'Structure of Sound' to encompass even the silence of absence." 2025年10月、東京藝術大学の奏楽堂。娘が奏でる師・伊福部昭のヴァイオリン協奏曲を聴いた瞬間、私の中で眠っていた「土着的律動」が地鳴りのように目覚めた。その直後に訪れた父の死。師の教え、血の循環、そして「不在の沈黙」すらも自らのインフラに取り込み、光と音の伽藍を築く構造家としての原点を綴る。
